Bring In, Build Up, Branch Out

Mission Statement Tucker Missionary Baptist Church

There are so many different things that could have brought you here: Are you interested in our upcoming events? Maybe you wanted to watch a recent sermon? We also thought people might visit for prayer – you can be prayed for right now by clicking here.

Prayer, right on the website? Absolutely! Because we want to be an extension of the mighty work of God that takes place at our headquarters and physical church building at 515 Oakwood Ave. in Syracuse, NY. God is working in and through our congregation, and our cup is overflowing. Let us share with you here on this website some of what God has given us, and also share a glimpse of the love and fellowship that’s waiting for you when you worship or study the bible with us.

Sunday Worship is at  7:30 AM and 10:00 AM

Sunday School is at 8:45 AM.

Bible Study is every Wednesday at 12 noon, and 6:00 PM.

The vision of Tucker Missionary Baptist Church is to move beyond the walls of the church and impact the Greater Syracuse Community. We seek both individual and group opportunities of need in order to provide help as a display of God’s love. Through strategic acts of kindness, we seek to foster relationships to bring forth sharing of the Gospel, personal development and spiritual growth.

Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, we do now in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.

The text above is the opening paragraph of our Church Covenant. The remainder of the covenant can be found here.

  • Tucker Missionary Baptist Church is a faith based, bible believing church, led by a pastor who preaches, teaches, and loves his congregation. The services here are engaging and interactive and the Holy Spirit is always present.

How do I get there?

You can find a Google Map to the right that displays our location. Click the map to get directions.

Where should I park?

We have ample parking in parking lots on both sides of the church. There are a few reserved spots for handicapped accessible parking and for our church van, but besides that, feel free to park anywhere. Many people choose to park right on Oakwood Avenue, too.

What should I wear?

Our church has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual. We have no expectations for attire.
